Returns Policy for Car and Motorcycle Parts

All parts on MegaParts.cy are supplied on a special order basis. After placing an order, the item is purchased from the supplier specifically for the customer, part number, vehicle, motorcycle or individual request.

Main rule: properly supplied parts that match the confirmed order and were ordered specifically for the customer are generally non-refundable.

When returns are not accepted

If the part is correct, matches the ordered number, was supplied on a special order basis and the issue is caused by incorrect selection by the customer.

When returns are accepted

If the wrong part was supplied due to our mistake, the item has a confirmed defect or does not match the confirmed order.

Why returns of special order parts are limited

Car and motorcycle parts often have multiple variations for the same model: different versions, years, engines, configurations and markets.

Therefore, a part ordered for a specific number or vehicle may not be returnable to the supplier or resellable to another customer.

If the customer selected the part number independently and did not request compatibility checking, and the part matches the order, MegaParts.cy may refuse the return.

“Check part numbers” option

When placing an order on the website, the customer has the option to request an additional compatibility check by selecting the checkbox.

If this checkbox was not selected, MegaParts.cy does not perform additional verification of part numbers and compatibility. The order is considered placed based on the customer's selection.

If the customer wants us to verify the part numbers, the checkbox must be selected and VIN, frame number or full vehicle details must be provided.

Returns are not accepted

We may refuse a return if:

  • the part was supplied on a special order basis;
  • the part is correct and matches the ordered number;
  • the customer selected the part number independently;
  • the “Check part numbers” option was not selected;
  • the customer did not provide VIN, frame number or full vehicle details;
  • the part has been installed, connected, used or damaged;
  • the packaging, labels or supplier markings are damaged or missing;
  • the customer changed their mind after the order was processed or delivered;
  • the customer ordered the wrong part due to incorrect vehicle or part information.
Delivery timing

Delays and third parties

Delivery times are estimated unless otherwise explicitly agreed in the order. Timing may be affected by suppliers, transport companies, customs procedures, holidays, weather conditions or other factors beyond MegaParts.cy control.

Delays caused by third parties are not, by themselves, a valid reason for returning a correct part if the order has already been processed or shipped.

If there is a significant delay, the customer may contact MegaParts.cy to уточнить статус заказа and discuss possible solutions.

Important

Electrical and electronic parts

Electrical and electronic parts are not accepted for return after opening, installation or connection to a vehicle or motorcycle.

These parts may be damaged by incorrect installation, vehicle faults, short circuits, moisture or other external factors.

  • sensors;
  • control units;
  • ECUs;
  • relays;
  • switches;
  • lighting modules;
  • ignition components;
  • motorcycle electronic parts.
Returns accepted

When we accept returns

We accept returns or provide a solution if the issue is caused by our mistake or if the product has a confirmed defect.

  • the supplied part does not match the confirmed order;
  • a different part number was supplied;
  • the part has a confirmed manufacturing defect;
  • an error was made by MegaParts.cy during compatibility checking;
  • the product does not match the agreed order conditions.
Compatibility check

VIN, frame number and vehicle data

To reduce the risk of ошибки, we recommend providing VIN, frame number or full vehicle details before placing an order.

Compatibility checking is only performed if requested during the order or separately agreed with MegaParts.cy.

Order cancellation

Orders can only be cancelled before they are processed by the supplier.

Once the order has been confirmed, purchased, packed or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.

How to request a return

If you believe a return is justified, please contact us before sending the item back. Returns without prior approval may not be accepted.

Please provide:

  • order number;
  • part number;
  • VIN or frame number;
  • photos of the part and packaging;
  • description of the issue;
  • confirmation that the part has not been installed or used.

Legal basis

This policy is based on consumer protection laws applicable in Cyprus and the European Union, including distance selling rules and exceptions for goods made or supplied to the customer's specifications.

These rules do not limit the customer’s statutory rights in cases where the product is defective, incorrectly supplied or does not match the confirmed order.

By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read and agreed to the delivery, compatibility and return conditions.
